Rotterdam based multi-media artist Nao Sakamoto explores the possibilities between film and spatial design. From Yokohama, Japan, Nao is investigating on merging filmmaking and interior architecture, exploring how we perceive and live in 'time and space'. The notion of experiencing space through body and mind is a continuous investigation through her works. Nao's works shows dynamic movement that reflects her understanding of nothing is permanent, and everything is always in fluid motion. Using film, sensors and 3D digital equipment, Nao investigates on the embodiment of the spectator together with material experiments. Her work was exhibited in MINT Collective at WORM Rotterdam.
