New York based artist duo LoVid, formed by Tali Hinkis and Kyle Lapidus in 2001, works at the cusp of new and archaic technologies. Their work comprises immersive installations, sculptural synthesizers, single channel videos, textiles, participatory projects, mobile media cinema, works on paper and audiovisual performances. LoVid’s projects have been exhibited internationally at SPRING/BREAK Art Show, New York; Daejeon Museum, South Korea; Everson Museum, New York; Smack Mellon, New York; Mixed Greens Gallery, New York; CAM Raleigh, North Carolina; Netherland Media Art Institute, Netherlands; The Science Gallery, Ireland; Real Art Ways, Connecticut; Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem, Israel; Urbis, UK; The Jewish Museum, New York; The Neuberger Museum, New York; The New Museum, New York; and the ICA, London; among others. The duo have also performed and presented works at Museum of Moving Image, New York; Lampo, Chicago; International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands; MoMA, New York; PS1, New York; The Kitchen, New York; CCA, Israel; and FACT, Liverpool.
