Keith Kamholz is a professional FX Technical Director with over eight years experience working on feature films and commercials. Prior to his current position at the visual effects company, Double Negative, he has worked at Industrial Light & Magic, Blue Sky Studios, Tippett Studio, Framestore NY, and Absolute Post. During his career he has worked on more than ten major films including Transformers: Age Of Extinction, Jurassic World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Ice Age: Continental Drift. His artwork has been featured in the FUTR WRLD book and exhibition and in Eye Lust Magazine. Kamholz will teach a CGI destruction masterclass for the CGMA/CGSociety in October 2016. As a producer, musician and DJ, Kamholz performs as part of the gritty live-electro band Mechanical Vein. Combining custom-built instrumentation with a furious organic edge, they produce music heavily influenced by acts such as The Glitch Mob, The Prodigy, Savoy, & Pendulum.
