Isidoro (Sid) was born in Sicily in 1954 and emigrated to Australia in 1961. He began drawing, painting and silkscreen printing at an early age and contributed to numerous local art shows. After completing a Diploma of Design at Melbourne's RMIT in 1978, Sid started his commercial career as an Art Director for Darcy MacManus & Masius Advertising working on a variety of accounts including Toyota, Mobil and The Australian Liberal Party. After a brief stint as an Art Director on a Television mini series, Sid travelled through Europe and eventually moved to Brisbane in 1985. He continued his Advertising career at Darcy, MacManus & Masius, Coudrey Advertising, Joint Venture, Mattingly and Chiat Day Mojo. In early 1993, Sid established his own Graphic Design and Art studio serving local Advertising Agencies and direct clients. Sid also developed his own unique style of painting incorporating micro controllers and other electronic components. His current passion revolves around the creation of abstract 3D imagery and particularly enjoys creating fictitious products, promotional posters and advertising campaigns.
