Public Displays

Yes, with a Public Display License (PDL). Prices shown on Sedition are for private collectors only. For public use, please contact us to arrange a PDL.

No. Purchasing an edition does not include public display rights. Public displays require a licensing agreement with terms agreed by Sedition and the display partner.

No. Art Stream subscription is for private viewing only and does not include public display rights.

A PDL grants permission to show specified artworks in public. It defines fees, duration, locations, display method, and content. It protects artists’ rights and gives you explicit usage permissions. Fees are negotiated case-by-case.

Fees vary based on:

  • Artist profile

  • Number of artworks

  • Duration and schedule

  • Display type and visibility (e.g., hotel room, office lobby, street-facing screen, projection mapping)

  • Audience size, publicity, and promotional use

Museums and nonprofits receive preferential pricing.

Any period: from an hour to multi-year terms. Longer engagements often provide better value.

Almost all. A few unique pieces may be unavailable. For street-facing displays, we always secure artist approval in advance.

We commonly supply customized files for your screens after the agreement is signed, to ensure reliable playback independent of internet connectivity.

Yes. We have facilitated commissions, from emerging to world-renowned artists. Pricing depends on scope, rights, and artist profile. Commissioned works can be exclusive and used for branding, events, or gifts (subject to the agreed rights).

All artworks are at least Full HD, and most are 4K. For resolutions above 4K or unusual formats, we can coordinate with artists to create or source suitable files.

Stock footage decorates; art defines. Sedition curates museum-caliber moving-image works, spanning emerging voices to globally recognized artists, to create displays with authorship, presence, and cultural significance. Each programme is tailored to your architecture, audience, and brand, with rights, formats, and durations precisely configured.
