Helen Dryden (born 1977, Middlesbrough,UK) is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Helen's approach is eclectic and sponataneous: reacting to visual stimuli from old books, flowers and trees; and dreaming up scenarios inolving ridiculous animals and abstraction.
She studied Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University (2000) and has since exhibited her paintings and photographs across the UK, including a digital projection at the TATE Modern (Street and Studio photography competition, 2008) and has sold work to collectors in Europe and the US.
In 2008 Helen was a finalist in the 'Creative 30' competition, voted one of the 30 most creative practitioners in the UK by VICE magazine.
Currently, Helen's practice involves installation art, drawing, painting, photography and design.
