Time + Machine is a series of multi-channel videos by Soa J. Hwang, initially designed as interactive installations.

The creation started with a question about how to draw time through machine languages and Hwang explores the questions and tries to visualise our relationship to time and being.

We all have our own stories and mythologies, and our personal experiences shape our perception of time. Reflecting on this idea, the work primarily is programmed to read each visitor's presence and to respond to the time that the audience spends with the artwork using the built-in game engine Unity and using a depth camera RealSense D400.

For the launch of Time + Machine at the Sedition, Soa J. Hwang presents a specially edited version of each work.
