Passing By is the new series of video works by Azamat Akhmadbaev. With this collection, Akhmadbaev continues to explore the spaces and limits of the phygital world, returning to his legacy work with scanned photographs.

Using some of his old works as a base, Akhmadbaev creates a set of glitch experiments, cutting and reassembling scanned images to produce videos. For each video work the artist also composed an original sound track.

Passing By is in reference to the fleeting nature of time; through the creation of phygital spaces, the collection explores different temporalities, and by extension the rhythmic sensation of life passing by.
